Cynicism is Shanti...

That's why i said cynicism is a blessing.
(Please read/refer previous post - 'Nothing Lasts' )

what would you rather be?

a poor stupid hopeful dud who keeps getting tossed around by time and life
or
the careless jerk who doesn't give a damn

well, the choice seems easy n clear

it seems easy and comfortable to be the jerk..
who wants to be the looser?
we choose it n decide to do so..be so..

well, there. there life! aka the bigger bitch!
she gives us good things, hopes, enchantments n attractions..
to each its own bait.
we fall.
some think its flowing some think its flying
but really, how do we know we aren't falling?

if u r a cynic - purane punya karm ka fal!
u neither flow nor fly ~ u don't fall either!
you are just there.
being u.
not moving not changing not going anywhere in good or bad times
u r blessed!
thats the 'shanti'!
cynical, but true..
isn't it?

Nothing Lasts...

The bad thing about anything good is the fact that it never lasts.
There comes a time, a moment when it all has to end…
And you can't help it!

Sometimes it’s just inevitable and sometimes it comes as a shock...

But no matter how it comes... or from where... whether expected or not...

You have to deal with it. You have to deal with it on your own.

It’s like an accident. When it hits u, u freeze.
And then comes a rush of pain that surrounds you, takes you in its arms
That separates you from rest of the world
The pain of being helpless, the pain of being unable to do anything, the pain of being alone, the pain of being cheated...

This pain makes u cynical and I think it’s a blessing if it does
Because it will then protect you the next time when something good comes around and you might get lost with it
Being cynical is best that you can get out of this circle-cycle
Next thing it can do is turning you into a junkie
Which is not very rare

All our life, all that we do is looking for happiness, looking for different ways to please ourselves, to make ourselves delighted and comforted...

But the sad part is, when we try to do this we think the key to this happiness is with other people
Which is true, because we have given the key to them at that moment of conquest for happiness

We expect - we believe - from others/ in others. Not ourselves.
We care - we want to be cared
Some people get lucky. Not all the times but they get lucky.
Some just keep licking ass of that 'key'
